Fahad Mustafa seems to be on a ride that only goes up. From his game show, Jeeto Pakistan to breaking numerous rating records to his stellar performance in the blockbuster Na Maloom Afraad, it is evident that his career is booming.

Recently, there had been rumours that he would be taking a sabbatical from television but talking to Dawn.com over the telephone, the actor reassures that's not entirely true. The charming and ever-so-polite star shared: "I'm working on my new drama called Doosri Biwi (the working title for which was Poora Chand Adhoora Hai) at the moment, which is my own production and will be aired on ARY Digital. My upcoming movie, Mah-e-Meer's co-director Anjum Shahzad is making a comeback to television and will be directing the serial."

The talented game show host added that Hareem Farooq and Maha Ansari are also part of the cast.

The actor also announced his new venture on his official Facebook page:

Talking more about the show, the Main Abdul Qadir Hoon actor revealed that Doosri Biwi is going to be slightly different than other shows, saying: "We're aiming for a different ambiance, a very contemporary look."

Mustafa did clarify that this is going to be his last television commitment for some time and his focus is mainly on production at the moment, stating: "I'm producing a movie, shooting for which is going to start in June/July next year hopefully."

But what about acting? Won't we be seeing any more of Fahad Mustafa on the silver screen?

"Never say never, I get offered a lot of scripts and they all sound the same, circling around espionage themes, such as Waar and Operation 021. I'm a happy person, I want to do happy movies! If the right script comes along...," reassures the A-lister.
