FWO convoys attacked in Panjgur, Turbat

GWADAR: A soldier was injured after two convoys of the Frontier Works Organisa­tion were attacked with bombs in Panjgur and Turbat on Saturday.

According to official sour­ces, a roadside improvised explosive device was detonated in Gogkdan Mai area of Turbat by remote control when vehicles of the FWO were passing.

The vehicles remained safe but a soldier, Mohammad Shabbir, was slightly injured in a clash with unidentified armed men after the explosion. The sources said an FWO convoy was also the target of another explosion that took place in Chattkan area of Panjgur, but no loss was reported.
