Umar Akmal welcomes baby girl with wife Noor Amna

LAHORE: Pakistan cricketer Umar Akmal and his wife Noor Amna welcomed a baby girl on Thursday.

Akmal made the announcement on Twitter in which he also posted a photograph of the new born baby.

The cricketer married Noor Amna last year. She is the daughter of former Pakistan leg-spinner Abdul Qadir.

Akmal is part of the World Cup 2015 squad which will leave for Australia and New Zealand for the tournament next month.

The 24-year-old is looking at the World Cup to redeem himself as a prodigious batting talent.
