@Adv Waqas These are historical photos some even 70 year old. There were not DLSR cameras and photoshop back then. We should appreciate the historical photos instead of complaining about the quality.

@myself It says:
is jahan main ahl e iman Surat Khursheed jitai gain. Idhar doobay udher niklay, udhar doobay idhar niklay.
English translation:
In this world the faithful will assume the state of radiance. They sink here, rise there again and again!
Hope this helps ijaz

Urdu poetry: Jahan main Ahl-e-imaan soorat-e-khursheed jeetay hain; idhar doobay udher niklay udher doobay idhar niklay
Translation: The likeness of believers is like sun, it sets here to rise there and sets there to rise here
Meaning: Do not despair, if you are a believer i.e. believe and act according to honorable teachings of Islam, even if you are defeated, you will soon rise again.

We are very good at putting up shows like parades etc. but what about our actual strength world politics , economics, sports etc.
It is better to focus practical than theory

Instead of a Republic day parade, I see a parade of people over time who have brought Pakistan to the state it is in! Great patriots all, don't forget!

According to the book "The murder of History" by K.K.Aziz, Pakistan Resolution Day was held on 24th of march, 1940 and not 23rd of march.

@ruther ford What dictionary meaning has anything to do here? The word democracy has different meaning in different context and entirely different from its dictionary meanings. It is republic, and its official name is Islamic Republic of Pakistan. It was declared Republic in 1956 when Pakistan disassociated itself from the British crown. In comparison to this India had its first governor general Lord Mountbatton instead of the traditional father figure of India like Jiwahar Lal Nehru, Villahbhai Patel and Moulana Azad.

Beggats blowing their trumpet and money. In such a big world they could not find a single leader to be the Chief guest at this National event.
I would compare it to be a district level function as i saw it live on the internet.
Seeing money spent on arms it is evident why Pakistan is a beggar country.
