I am paying for 80 % of the fanfare expenses in the reception of he Chineese PM in Islamabad and yet my Chief minister, Hon. Syed Q.A. Ali Shah was not invited. ( total revenue share is 80 % for entire Pakistan from my home province. ) The other two CMs were also excluded. Only CM of Punjab is seen every where. Most of the projects will be in other three provinces and they are not even relevant for this occasion. What is going on. Can someone explain. I am very angry today.

Is my country, Pakistan a Kingdom of Punjab or Jinnah's Pakistan. I do not see any one else in today fanfare in Islamabad. The other head of the Governments of Sindh, Baluchistan & KP are missing. Why ?

All well and good but why was only CM of Punjab in welcome party and not CM's of other three provinces? I sincerely hope PMLN does not make this deal into a deal between PMLN and China. The whole Pakistan is watching and tranparency and good governance MUST be practiced or this deal will wither away just like many others.

@Nizamuddin Ahmad Aali Shahbaz Sharif has been very active chief minister. He has visited many countries e.g Turkey, Qatar, China etc. to bring investment. Has any other chief minister ever tried to visit other countries and bring investments?

@Nizamuddin Ahmad Aali Just to clear your doubts, whenever head of state visits, it is always a prime minister and president who receives and preside over the functions. Same thing happened in India too, when Obama visited it was only a Prime Minister and President who presided over the functions.There was not a single Chief Ministers from any states.It doesn't mean that the Prime Minister only represented Gujarat.

Chinese leaders are wise they know the very basic fact that to remain prosperous and strong one should keep his neighbours prosperous, peaceful and happy. But Saudis don't understand such basic fact. If one is bombing his neighbours or if there would be chaos in neighbouring state the burden of problems would eventually infiltrate no matter how tightly one seals his borders. What Saudis did in Iraq/Syria/Behrain & now what they are doing in Yemen the burden of war and escalated chaos would definitely infiltrate in Saudia. Saudis have to live with their neighbours not with US or Isrel. Perhaps Saudis could recognize that fact themselves if they ever bothered to respect their neighbours & ever recognized their rights. China is making investment in Pakistan in order to enhance their market. Pakistan must have to acquire peace in order to utilize investments appropriately for welfare and prosperity of PK nation and must eliminate terrorism and terrorism producing seminaries.

Pakistan should be wary of Chinese investments, as many companies in China has been charged with corruption.

We should think very carefully and honestly before commenting. Intellectual mental level of both nations (Chinese and Pakistanis) is almost same in my view, but what we have done for our country and nation (compare with China)? If I have written the truth with open heart and mind, the Dawn might have not published my comments. @NIZAMUDDIN AHMAD AALI..... there is no doubt that Karachi is the financial capital of Pakistan, but its not factual that Karachi walas contribute 80% towards economy of the country. In fact its OTHERWISE. Most of the revenue generated is customs duty / on imports as its a port city and most of the commercial concerns are headquartered in Karachi. the people living in Karachi don't pay any extra taxes, so no need for them to feel generous. rather they should feel lucky that they have employment and business opportunities generated by money collected from all over Pakistan and invested / concentrated in Karachi. Businessmen and investors from other provinces also invest in karachi, thus creating employment opportunities for Karachiwalas and other ppl residing there.

The chinese are very practical people and promise a lot but till the Billions promised by them land in Pakistan that is another story. During their last visit to India, Xi Ping also promised some Billions of Dollars in investment but I am not sure, if even a cent has landed in Indian industry yet...So folks just dont get taken up by empty drum beatings ...let money start flowing in first....
