KARACHI: Nixor College Red beat Nixor College White 2-0 to win the Jinnah Cup Girls Throwball Tournament here on Sunday.

The event was organised by the Sindh Throwball Association in collaboration with the Pakistan Throwball Federation (PTF) and Nixor College.

Wania Shahid was declared the Best Player of the Tournament for her outstanding show for the winners.

Earlier, Nixor College teams dominated the semi-finals. Nixor College White beat PECHS School 2-0 while Nixor Red outplayed Southshore School 2-0. Southshore School grabbed third spot by beating PECHS School 2-0.

PTF general secretary Maqbool Arain announced that Pakistan Junior girls and boys teams will be participating in the Asian Junior Throwball Champion­ship at Kuala Lumpur from Dec 27-30. A camp for that event will commence on Dec 8 at the Neighborhood Park at Clifton.
