LAHORE: Pakistan Peoples Party Information Secretary Qamar Zaman Kaira has asked the government as how the 72 banned outfits are working under new names.

“The Charsadda attack has exposed the PML-N government’s claim that it has overcome terrorism. The interior minister should answer as how 72 banned organisations have been working under different names with impunity,” Mr Karia asked.

He said the National Action Plan was not being implemented in letter and spirit and Mr Bilawal Bhutto had rightly called it an “N-League Action Plan.”

He told reporters here on Saturday that the government must eliminate those trying to impose their agenda through guns. He said the people of Lal Masjid were trying to impose their agenda and the government did not seem to be bothered about it.

Flanked by Usman Malik, Mr Kaira further said China would be the main beneficiary of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). The government should watch its interests, he said.

Mr Kaira criticised the government for becoming an ally in the Saudi-led alliance of 34 countries. “Will the army of the other member countries fight for Pakistan? We should not involve in other countries’ fight,” he said.
