KARACHI: With a goal in each half, Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) cruised 2-0 past Balochistan and into the last 16 of the All Pakistan Amn Cup Football Tournament at the Peoples Stadium here on Thursday.

Aurangzeb put SSGC ahead in the 32nd minute and Mohammad Tahir slammed home the decisive second just past the hour mark.

Unlike SSGC, Gwadar and Swat needed penalties to reach the last 16.

Gwadar defeated FATA 4-3 in a shootout after their match ended in 2-2 draw with Swat prevailing over Sindh Police with the same margin in the shootout after a 1-1 draw.
