An armed student of a private school in Bahawalnagar's Haroonabad area on Monday fired three shots outside the school campus, District Police Officer Liaquat Ali Malik told DawnNews.
The student ran away after the incident.
The school's guard was alerted by the firing after which police arrived on the scene and the school was emptied out.
Nobody was harmed in the incident.
