ISLAMABAD: A man who went missing on Friday was found dead at Rawal Dam on Saturday, police said.

The victim was identified as Altaf Husain, 52, a resident of Islamabad, they stated, adding that he was working at the Fishery Department at Rawal Dam.

He was last seen by his colleagues on Friday evening and was missing since then. The family started a search for him when he did not return home. On Saturday, they found his body lying along Rawal Lake adjacent to Murree Road.

The family members shifted Husain’s body to a hospital, the police said, adding that the actual cause of death would be ascertained after the autopsy report.
