BATTAGRAM: A common leopard killed an old man in the wee hours on Tuesday.

SDFO wildlife Mumtaz told Dawn that an elderly man identified as Sultan, 84, came out of his room to use toilet at 2am when a common leopard attacked him, leaving him dead in Motyan area of Dheri Malang Khan.

Mr Mumtaz warned the locals to take precautionary measures to ward off the possible attacks of the leopard in future.

The victim’s wife said she came outside her house after her husband didn’t return and found him lying dead in pool of blood.

The deceased had received deep injuries on his neck and face.
