PBA elects office-bearers

KARACHI, Dec 22: The first meeting of the board of directors of the Pakistan Broadcasters Association (PBA), a representative body comprising both television and radio broadcasters, was held in Karachi on Wednesday, says a press release. It elected the following office-bearers:

Mir Shakil-ur-Rehman of GEO TV as chairman; Mr Salman Iqbal of ARY Digital, senior vice-chairman; Mr Ghazanfar Ali of Indus TV, vice-chairman; Mr Arshad A. Zuberi of Aaj TV, secretary-general; Mr Duraid Qureshi of Hum TV, joint secretary; and Mr Muhammad Aslam Kazi of KTN TV; finance secretary.

Mr Taher A. Khan of ‘One’ TV was nominated as chief patron of the association.
