CJ route decision today: Malik

Published May 12, 2007

Munir A. Malik, president of the Supreme Court Bar Association and a member of the panel of lawyers defending Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry in the Supreme Court, has said that a decision about the route of the caravan of the chief justice will be taken after he lands in Karachi.

Talking to Dawn from Islamabad, Mr Malik said there had been reports that parts of the Sharae Quaideen had been dug up in order to deter the chief justice from visiting the Quaid’s mausoleum.—S. Raza Hassan
