Journalist Mir Jamil dies

ISLAMABAD, Dec 12: Mir Jamil-ur-Rehman, a younger brother of Mir Khalilur Rehman, the late founder of Daily Jang, died here on Sunday.

Mr Rehman was the brain behind the newspaper's efforts to reach out to a wider audience in its early years, launching satellite publications like the “Naunehal League” and “Bhai Jan”. —Agencies
