Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani was born on July 6, 1949 and obtained a degree in law from University of Punjab. He also completed a course in constitutional law from the University of London.

Currently, Jillani is serving as a Justice in Supreme Court of Pakistan and has previously served as a Justice of Lahore High Court. He enrolled as an advocate of the high court in 1976 and has served as additional Advocate General Punjab and advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan before being promoted to the position of Justice of Supreme Court.
