POETS’ CORNER

The two people

I am the richest person of this world,
Because I have two people,
Who have great influence in my life
They work day and night for me
And help me on every step
When there is a problem, they solve that.
When I need something, they give me that.
Sometimes I was wrong in understanding them,
They were thinking for my betterment and,
I was thinking for my pleasure.
They always said to me that,
All that glitters is not gold.
They love me a lot
And try to fulfil my all needs.
They taught me how to walk,
How to work and how to talk.
And, I always pray for their health.
Whatever I am is just because of them.
Whatever I am is their hard work and prays.
And those two sweet and loving people,
Are my GREAT PARENTS.

My grandparents

Do you know my grandmother
She is so polite and helpful to others
I can’t give you examples
But she is never short tempered
Do you know my grandfather?
He is neither strict nor polite
Because he is one with changing signs
I have only one way to describe
I love them because they are my life.
They can never hurt my feelings
Because i m their medicine for their heeling.

My grandmother

She was like my mother
But sometimes acted like my brother
She lived in the West
And was the best
And different from the rest
Now I am full of tears
Because I can’t hear her
Because she died last year
I loved to spend time with her
When I was free
While sitting under a tree
My grandmother
She was like my mother
But sometimes acted like my brother.

My grandfather

My grandfather was an amazing human being
He cared for every single person that he was seeing
He was a kind and loving great man,
Things that you think you cannot do, he said you can
My grandmother loved him with all her heart
But soon his health problems made things fall apart
I was very sad when things went wrong
I miss him, his advice, his stories and his song
He made me feel special, he had the knack
I would give anything to have him back!

A better Pakistan

Whenever I think about my country, my eyes are filled with tears,
Why is there bloodshed, why is there fear?
Bomb blast and gunshots, bribery and theft,
Murders and kidnapping…no peace is left.
If this continues, where will we go?
There’s only one thing that we should know!
Killing and fighting can only make the matters worse!
They cannot solve the problems, as they are just a curse!
If a problem or difficulty we have to face,
We should not lose hope & believe in Allah’s grace.
So we should spread friendship, love and unity,
And always live in peace and harmony.
So why not try to make the lives of citizens comfortable!
And lead Pakistan to prove that…
A better Pakistan is possible!

Call for freedom

I looked out of the window of my flat
And saw two children playing with a bat
In a corner stood a girl in white
I thought she was a very sad sight
She stood with her back to a wall
She looked so weak , I thought she would fall
Beside her was the picture of a king
But behind her painted were wings
The wings were crossed with the colour red
I could not understand what they said
But when I went to see the girl
To see the face behind the curls
She looked just like a sad fairy to me
A sight not at all merry to see
The wings looked a part of her
How extraordinarily different they were
The girl was telling there was no freedom
Left in this cruel and evil kingdom.

Cars

Cars, cars, I love cars
They take me places like Mars
My dad has one
That is shaped like a bun
I love cars
Toy cars, fake cars, real cars
I still love cars
Many, many cars
I have a car but I don’t go far
I have an mp3 inside my car
And music like many Mars bars
At night I go out and watch
The stars in my car
I love cars.

My school

My school is very far from my home
But you will not find such a school even in RomeOur surroundings are very elegant
And the flowers in the garden are very fragrant
My class fellows are pleasant and sweet
They always remain tidy and neat
Our principal, to us is very precious
In her office she always appears gracious
Our class teacher is nice and beautiful
She is regular, punctual and dutiful
Our English teacher is very clever and kind
In Pakistan such a good soul is difficult to find.

When peace died

When a baby opened his eyes,
Watching bloodshed and hearing atrocious cries,
He yelled to his lord that,
“Put me to death,”
I don’t want to survive in this unmerciful land,
Where once the flowers used to bloom,
But now it is entirely wrecked,
Where once people used to care for others,
But now with their own work they are wedged,
It’s a jerky and a brutal world,
Where conscience is no more,
It’s a freak and trivial world,
Where malevolence deeds have opened its doors,
A world where every one desires,
To have a cushy life,
And for their sake,
They are doing crimes,
Oh God! This is my pray,
As in my heart you stay,
Give us concord and unity,
To spend a peaceful life.
