KARACHI, Dec 23 Top seeds Ali Mehdi and Monisha Kotia won men`s and women`s singles crowns in the Sindh Open badminton championships which concluded at the PSB Coaching Centre on Tuesday.

Ali overcame second seed Harrison Brent straight 21-17, 21-15 in the final to land the title while Monisha got the better of fourth seed Amna Khan 21-15, 21-10 to grab honours.

Hyderabad`s pair of Mohammad Ali and Farhan Mohib claimed the men`s doubles title when they accounted for Harrison Brent and Adnan Siddiqui 21-15, 21-18.

The women`s doubles title went to Aimen Khan and Amna Khan who handed out 21-12, 21-13 victory over Amber Ghazali and Farah Essa.
