KOHAT, April 22 Unidentified armed persons kidnapped two employees of a cellular phone company from Mulayano Kalay in Darra Adamkhel on Wednesday.

Officials confirmed that two employees of Ufone Company identified as Mohammad Shaheen and Mohammad Iqbal were kidnapped in Darra Adamkhel area.

The armed men whisked them away to unknown location, they added.

The victims were on their way to Kohat from Peshawar in their car when they were kidnapped in Darra Adamkhel.

Darra Taliban had announced to end the 35-day old unilateral ceasefire on Monday evening.

HOUSE BULLDOZED The security forces bulldozed the house of an outlaw involved in terrorist activities in the Frontier Region of Kohat on Wednesday.

Helicopter gunships also pounded hideouts of militants in the mountains of Dara Adamkhel on Kohat side. The main targets were Shindand, Jammu Turkey Ismail and Jawaki areas of the Frontier Region. There were no report of casualties.

Police claimed to have taken several suspects into custody and handed them over to special investigation teams. The security forces also recovered huge quantity of weapons from the suspects.

The security forces launched major search operation against the criminals and militants in the B areas of Kohat.
