KARACHI, May 6 Syed Saad Ali and Ahsan Ali smashed centuries as Karachi registered their second win in the PCB-Mobilink Hunt for Heroes Under-16 cricket tournament, outclassing Sialkot by 121 runs at the PCB Academy Ground here on Tuesday.
Saad hammered 19 boundaries and brace of sixes in his 124 off as many balls while Ahsan hit nine fours and a six in his 102 off 118 balls as Karachi, batting first, piled up 290-9 in their allotted 50 overs.
Sialkot, in reply, were restricted to 169-9 in their 50 overs. Slow left-arm spinner Faraz Ahmed grabbed four wickets for 24 off his ten overs.
Meanwhile, in a match played at the National Stadium, Faisalabad beat Hyderabad by four wickets with Salman Zaidi hitting 52 for the losers.
At the RLCA Ground, Quetta shocked Multan with an exciting two-wicket win, thanks to a fine all-round show by Shabbir Ali who took two wickets for 35 besides scoring 34 off 69 balls.
