ISLAMABAD, June 26 Sara Mahboob and Ushna Sohail defeated their respective opponents in the semi-finals of the Subh-e-Nau Women's National tennis championship at the PTF Complex on Friday.

In the first semi-final, Sara Mahboob proved too good for Sara Mansoor, winning the fixture 6-2, 6-4.

In the day's second semi-final, Ushna thrashed Saba Aziz after a crucial two-hour fight.

Despite losing the first set 5-7, Ushna made a good comeback to eventually win the next two sets 6-4, 6-2 by playing some good down the line winners.

Meanwhile, in the juniors' semi-finals, Faizan Khurram hammered Zohair Raza 6-1, 6-2 while Heera Ashiq defeated Sadan-ul-Haq 6-3, 6-0.
