LAHORE, Aug 12 Seventeen men and 16 women including seniors and juniors were selected to attend the national badminton training camp in preparation for the South Asian Games.

While the juniors and emerging players will start the training forthwith, the seniors will join them after Eid-ul-Fitr.

European qualified coach Razziuddin Ahmad, who is Level II coach from England, will take charge as coach with Mohammad Naeem as his assistant.

The 11th SAF Games are scheduled to be held in Bangladesh in Jan 2010.

Men Wajid Ali Chaudhry, Ahsan Qamar, Waqas Ahmad, Rizwan Azam, Kashif Sulehri, Hashir Bashir, Mohammad Attique.

Women Sara Khan, Ayesha Akram, Palwasha Bashir, Sara Mohmand, Aneeqa Rana, Sadia Arshad, Farzana Saleem, Sidra.

Juniors

Boys Rizwan Azam, Kashif Sulehri, Ali Murad, Irfan Saeed, Azeem Sarwar, Waqas Zahid, Awais Zahid, Temur Arab, Nabeel, Ali Mehdi.

Girls Sara Mohmand, Khizra Rasheed, Sidra, Sumaira Irshad, Dania, Rabia Malik, Aniqa Rana, Hira Tahir.
