KARACHI, Sept 3 Six local outfits are to vie for honours in the Ramazan basketball tournament when it gets into action at Arambagh floodlit courts on Friday.

The teams which have entered in the contest are KESC, Arambagh Club, Nishtar Club, Neighbourhood Club, Malir Club and Gulshan Club.

Two matches will be played daily in the event which is being played on the single league basis.

The teams securing top two berths on points will play the final while the next two teams will play the 3rd-4th position match.

The Karachi City District Amateur Basketball Association is organising the event.

Friday's fixtures

KESC v Malir Club at 10.00pm; Nishtar Club v Gulshan Club at 11.00pm
