LAHORE, Dec 7 Faisalabad bulldozed Bahawalpur 8-0 on the second day of the 25th National Women's hockey championship at the National Hockey Stadium here on Monday.

Iram pumped in four goals. Anees (2), Maria and Maryam Mansha with one goal each were the other scorers.

Huma Sheikh scored three as Multan hammered Rawalpindi 6-0. Iram, Asma and Hina chipped in with one goal each.

In the third match, Karachi showed no mercy for Larkana, earning a convincing 6-0 win. Asma and Madiha scored three each for Karachi.

Last year's runners-up Railways slammed Higher Education Commission 4-1.

Ayesha from Railways scored two goals, while Tehmina and Shahida added one goal apiece. The consolation goal from the HEC came through Sameera.

Defending champions Wapda did not start the campaign impressively as they could earn 2-0 win against Rangers. Neelma and Beenish Hayat were their scorers.

In the sixth match of the day, Lahore managed a 5-0 win against Sargodha with Ayesha Rasheed (3) was the key scorer. Asifa and Rukhsana Shaukat pumped in one each.
