KARACHI, March 20 Junior international Abeera Ali emerged as the most outstanding player of the second Essa Mohammad ranking table tennis tournament ending up with a triple crown as curtain fell on the competition Friday evening.

After pocketing the cadet girls' under-15 title, Abeera, who has represented Pakistan in the South Asian junior event at Jaipur and Youth Games at Singapore last year, maintained her ascendancy adding girls' under-18 and women's singles titles to her tally.

She accounted for Sana Erum 11-5, 11-8, 15-13, 4-11, 11-6 to pick up the girls' under-18 title and beat Iqra Saeed second time in as many days 11-9, 11-7, 11-5, 11-5 for the women's singles crown.

Another junior international Anns Ali stole the limelight in cadet boys to finish with a double crown. He completed the feat when he romped home 11-6, 11-7, 5-11, 11-7, 11-8 over Ahmed Aslam to claim the boys' under-18 title. He had won the cadet boys' under-15 title earlier.

Mohsin Raza won the men's singles title registering a 13-11, 9-11, 11-9, 11-5, 11-7 victory over Atta Abbas. The win helped the former annex double crown as earlier he teamed up with Ghalia Khurshid to clinch the mixed doubles title. The latter had won the women's doubles with Ayesha which also gave her a double crown.

Former international player and ITTF coach, Arif Khan, who graced the occasion, presented the prizes.
