LAHORE, Aug 26: The Shaikh Zayed Hospital, Lahore, has established a primary healthcare centre at Zohra Memorial Hospital in Layyah to treat people in the flood-affected district, says a press release issued here on Thursday.

It said SZH doctors, including Prof Moeed Iqbal Qureshi, Prof Ajmal Hasan, Prof Farrukh Iqbal, Prof Waqar Husain and Dr Pervaiz Iqbal, and paramedics were providing treatment to the flood-hit people.

According to the release, the 15-bed Zohra Hospital had both outdoor and indoor facilities where doctors had provided treatment to around 800 patients in five days.

A fresh team of doctors and paramedical staff would leave for Layyah on Friday (today).
