KARACHI, Oct 7: Neighbourhood Club seniors and Bounce Club fought their way into the final of the flood relief basketball tournament (phase two) registering victories over their respective opponents in the pre-finals at Kashmir Road court on Wednesday evening. Neighbourhood chalked up 68-45 victory over Arambagh Club after leading 26-21 at half time. The winners enhanced their lead in the third quarter which they won 23-8 and rounded off the fourth 19-16 to post convincing win.Ahad (16), Hammad (14), Umer (11) and Raja Jehanzeb (10) shared the scoring honours for winners while Syed Adnan Ali top scored for losers with 17.

Saifullah steered Bounce Club to 53-47 victory over Gulshan Hawks in the other encounter. The winners led 28-24 at half time.

Saifullah dominated the play scoring 22 points. He was followed by Lawrence 9. Mohsin and Israr scored 18 and 10 respectively for losers.

The final between Neighbourhood Club seniors and Bounce Club will be played on Friday at 8.00pm.
