KARACHI, Dec 8: An 11-member Karachi team will take part in the 16th Sindh karate championship, scheduled to be held in Nawabshah on Dec 11 and 12, the Karachi City District Karate Association announced on Wednesday.

The team was selected after open trials at the Sindh Sports Complex.

Besides Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Larkana and Mirpurkhas will take part in the event.

The winners of the competition will represent Sindh in the 31st National Games.

Abdul Rahim, Asghar Ali, Mohsin Ali Hazara, Hamid Bukhtiar, Jamil Ahmed, Jawad Ali Sammon, Karamatullah Khan, Ghulam Raza, Kaleem Haider, Waqas Ali Samoon and Safdar Ali.—APP
