ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Badminton Federation (PBF) announced the final squad for Iran’s Fajar International Challenge 2011 starting from February 16-19.

Trials to select players for the event in Tehran were held on Jan 13 and 14 at Rodham Hall, Pakistan Sports Complex.

In men’s category Ali Murad, Waqas Zahid, Ali Mehdi, Awais while the women’s squad was made up of Sara Mohammand, Palwasha Basheer, Sadia Arshad and Aneeqa Rana. Sidra and Khizra were named as resrves.

President PBF, Nazar Muhammad Gondal has congratulated the selected players and hoped for a strong performance at the tournament in Iran.
