ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) President Asma Jahangir on Friday criticized the ad-hocism in the judiciary and said the trend should end.

Talking to media person after a meeting with Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry here, she said the SCBA had already expressed its concerns over ad-hocism.

Asma said that she informed the chief justice about the lawyers apprehensions on ad-hocism in the meeting.

For smooth functioning of institutions, the culture of ad-hocism must end, she stressed.
