KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Sunday announced to form its Central Council (CC).

The party’s central leader Dr. Farooq Sattar while addressing a press conference said the members of the council will be responsible to publicise the message of the MQM and provide consultation to the party’s Rabita Committee on various challenges which are being confronted by the country.

Sattar said the council will also play its role in preparing election manifesto, designing political program and developing contacts with the political and religious leaders. It will also coordinate with the Rabita Committee in policy making process, he added.
