Snoop Dogg recieves 'Icon' award
The BMI Icon Award was presented to Snoop Dogg, who was saluted with an all-star musical tribute during the ceremony. Also awarded that night were the Urban Song of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, and Publisher of the Year. BMI also honoured the Top Urban Producers of the previous year, as well as the BMI songwriters whose songs have hit No. 1 on the Billboard R&B, Hip-Hop and Rap charts.
