ATTOCK, Sept 2: As many as 18 under-trial prisoners involved in petty crimes, were released from the district jail on bail. According to a press release, Additional District and Sessions Judge Chaudhry Anwar Ahmed, during his visit to the district jail a day before Eidul Fitr, ordered to release the prisoners.

He asked the released prisoners not to indulge in the crimes again and act as responsible citizens in the society. Later, the AD&SJ also inspected the different jail departments including hospital, kitchen and women cell and inquired the jail inmates about their problems. He directed the jail administration to ensure treatment of the ailing prisoners in the jail hospital.
