No one can debate the fact that it gives you such a high when you see Pakistani artists win over Indian audiences on Indian soil by virtue of their sheer talent. The strange thing is that for some reason performing abroad seems to bring out the best in them.

These days a new comedy show titled Laugh India Laugh on an Indian channel is going up the popularity charts. Last week, three Pakistani comedians, Naseem Vicky, Kainat Chohan and Ayaz Samoo did their acts on the programme, and all of them garnered generous applause from the judges as well as the audience of the show. You don’t know for how long they will last on LIL, but watching the likes of Shekhar Suman and Chunky Pandey getting rib-tickled by Naseem V and Ayaz S and shower profuse praise on them made you feel really elated. And yes, the erstwhile Shakeel Siddiqi was also seen on one of Comedy Circus episodes. Way to go, Pakistani comics!
