I am from Germany and have seen Alpine region all the way from Northern Italy to Switzerland. The landscapes are intensely affecting and it is fair to say "a Heaven on Earth" but it is still far from the Pamit, Himalayas and Karakoram ranges which spread across Northern Pakistan, Northern India, Nepal and Southern China. Mont Blanc, France (highest peak in Western Europe), Zugspitze (Top of Germany) or Jungfraujoch, Switzerland (Top of Europe) is no way near in comparison to what we are blessed with. You can fairly imagine that Mont Blanc is approximately 5000m high while there are more than 5 peaks in Pakistan only which are higher than this.
On my hiking to Jungfraujoch I met a couple and the Lady ask me, Where I came from? "I said, Pakistan". She then said, "Oh! then you must be so used-to of such hiking trails". I said, Yaaaa ummm No." :D :D
Little embarrassing, isn't it?
