PESHAWAR: Chief of the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam – Fazl, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, on Saturday said that "while everyone was outraged over the attack on Malala Yousufzai, there was silence on the issue of Aafia Siddiqui", DawnNews reported.
Speaking at a gathering in Peshawar, the JUI-F chief said: “The Taliban have made mistakes and we accept that...however, acts of violence, regardless of who is behind them, should be termed as such.”
Rehman alleged that the media and human rights groups were quiet on the issue of Aafia as "those who had shot at her were Americans".
He moreover said that justice was not being served to the people of the country, adding that, if the youth wanted a change, it should first strive to eliminate corruption from society.

Maulvi sahib Aafia was sentenced after due process of the law (right or wrong is another issue) but Malala was shot by a terrorists. Stop justifying your warped thinking and for once talk sense.

He is accepting Taliban's mistakes as if he is their representative - some times truth slips out of your tongue in so many ways! People like him are the real menace of the society.

Aafia choose an extreme path filled with hatred and she cared little about her own family and children. Please don't compare Malala with an antisocial girl like Aafia.

The first and the foremost basic right is the right to live and
respect human life. The Holy Quran lays down:
Whosoever kills a human being without (any reason like) man
slaughter, or corruption on earth, it is as though he had killed
all mankind ... (5:32)
These instructions have been
repeated in the Holy Quran in another place saying:
Do not kill a soul which Allah has made sacred except through the due
process of law ... (6:151)

Yes because Malala is fighting for Pakistan ,where Aafia action have nothing to do Pakistan . Lets good Pakistani care about Malala, where rest can cry for Aafia.
Aafia had chance with her education background to work for benefit of Pakistan. But she made her choice .

The Maulana and all like minded people must understand that the outrage against the shooting of
Malala is that the people who shot her use Islam as their basis of their actions, and they call themselves Muslims, Does the Maulana agree with them.??
There are no ifs and but's the people who shot her are either right or wrong.
the mulana cannot sit on the fence on this issue.
The west does not use religion as a basis as their actions , they they identify the people who they prosecute as enemies. That is the issue
Is Malala a enemy of the people of Pakistan or Islam or the people who shot her.
The Maulana needs.to answer this.
