PMA to hold marathon

KARACHI, Feb 20: The Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) will hold its 24th Karachi City Marathon and Health Walk on Sunday, said PMA’s Karachi chapter president Prof Idrees Adhi and general secretary Dr Qazi Wasiq at a press conference on Wednesday.

“This year, the marathon is dedicated to dengue virus eradication,” said Dr Adhi.

Dr Wasiq said a marathon of 13 miles, starting from and ending at the PMA House, was organised every year. The slogan of this year marathon was “Qadam Uthao, Dengue Bhagao”, he added.—APP
