It was an election of Pakistani people, and people have failed. They elected Nawaz, who has been tested twice and failed. Pakistan is not ready for democracy.

Whatever you decide Imran Khan we are with you. You have not lost the election the Pakistani Nation has lost the opportunity to change the systems for the benefit of all, to prosper, to live with peace and with dignity.

Who are the real beneficiaries in the Election? Pakistani Nation. NO. Nawaz Sharif and his (Khandaan) family. After one Sharif, Pakistani Nation should be prepared to be ruled by another Sharif. Question about previous Elections' Results and Properties in the UK and in Saudi Arabia are not being answered by the so called Sharif. Vote rigging, abuse of government machinery, civil servant , manipulation of the whole system has given Sharif's party a big majority.

The current system which is subject to abuse and producing modern Dictator. Sharif and his family are modern dictator who are interested to produce sharif after sharif including some members of our judiciary who are not willing to stand up and open their money laundering and corruption cases. Have they also become sahrif ?

Quaid E Azam also lost the first election and was only able to form govt in Sindh but won the next election and formed Pakistan. So PTI will also inshallah win next election and make naya Pakistan..its just the beginning.

I think i have seen worst of corruption in this election. I am estimating that PTI lost atleast 40 NA & around 50 PA seats due to rigging by PML N (duniya news)& MQM. My friends were witnesses in several polling stations in Karachi & Punjab. I still wish IK the best. P.S I was not a PTI supporter till after the results as i fl that IK was ripped off. Wonder what happened to MQM people who were arrested red handed on Wasim Akthar's plot on tariq road by Rangers brigadier (they were stamping empty ballot papers in NA 251/PS115)

Hopes not lost. Sun will rise again. We now know the real SHARIFS and How much SHARIF they can get. Allah knows it all. People will know.

Usually elections are possible to be rigged by the party in power immediately preceding election . A party which is not in power for this many years would not have money power or bureaucratic power to rig elections . The people of Pakistan has voted and Nawaz sheriff is clear winner . With all respect to Imran Khan . The comment on elections being rigged is not the gentleman face we had seen in you . PPP has lost it after benazir . and i think the electorate deemed Imran khan's PTI too modern .

Hard to believe PTI lost in Lahore, either massive rigging or Lahore is massively overestimated as an educational and cultural center.

A very disappointing day............... Pakistanis are yet to realise the difference between wrong and right. Imran gave us the belief that Pakistan could change. He needs to get up and start giving us hope once more for a better tomorrow.

Pakistan is a Failed State. Its proven again. Now go back to stone age .

We, punjabies again choose Thana-katachary and patwari politics, corruption, mismanagement. Still, we want some more corruption. Poor people, poor thinking.

Illiterate Pakistanis once again let the country down if we were a literate nation with good quality education to all, Imran would have won every seat.

Once again corruption has won and honesty and sincerity is badly defeated.But its not surprising at all if we look on our people thinking and integrity which has been deeply corrupted. so the matter of fact is "IF WE INPUT TRASH THE OUTPUT WILL BE TRASH". Good luck Pakistani nation.

I am indian but i wanted to see Imran Khan as a PM. Imran khan earn more fame from games. its bad luck for him People of Pakistan. But same time i can say that he and his party make good place in heart of awam so maybe better luck in future. Keep it up.

Faiza Choosing the tried and tested corrupt rulers from the past does not deserve congratulations. It has become a curse for the great Pakistani nation to have inadequate rulers who will not stand up to the BIG BULLY, which North Kporea did.

Even though Imran Khan did not win the number of seats he was hoping to win, I still believe he came out a winner! Change takes time and maybe, its best for Imran Khan to be in the opposition to get a good feel of how the government runs. His experience in the next 4-5 years should prepare him much better, to bring the changes that he wants to bring. He should be able to gather the team of qualified individuals, who can form a government that would be conscientious and trustworthy. I have deep conviction that this is the start - we are on our way to recovery and although at this time, we can count on Imran to be the most effective opposition leader, we should be looking forward to him leading Pakistan in the near future. May God continue to bless Pakistan!

People have not failed - Change takes time and in order to achieve the desired results, we have to go through some adventures. Hang in there - don't lose hope - good times are just around the corner.

Elections on Ethnic grounds.... PPP retain Sindh (did quite well) inspite of poor performance of 5 yrs. MQM did well Inspite of doing nothing for 5 yrs. Punjabis vote for punjabi, Mohajirs vote for Mohajirs, Sindhis vote for Sindhis. Shame... Imran don't worry you did well ... people are not ready for change. Thank you.

So to say PTI is the only party that had collected followers from all provinces and parts of Pakistan. It is strange to learn that whoever wins with reasonable majority in Punjab would lead the Centre. NS's Punjab centric politics are paying him off due to this apparently flawed system. The number of seats for each province should be equal for National Assembly. How they distribute them over the constituencies doesn't matter.

Reports of blatant rigging in Karachi and some areas of Punjab indicate that a real fair and free balot would show a different results. I would guess PTI could get another 10 + seats.

The biggest and richest province of Pakistan is Punjab where Shareef brothers were the rulers for the past 5 years. Hope you understand the rigging allegations in Punjab polls now.

I am disappointed with the system of injustice in Pakistan. Our right to vote was not given to us. We voted for PTI but results were stopped, changed and then released. No way i will belive that Millions of Khan's suppoerters across Pakistan gave him only 34 seats in NA. The elections were clearly rigged. ECP is incompetent and doesn't have the required capacity and power. But i still have have hope in PTI and its leadership. Inshallah we will create KPK a model province.

Considering that we overseas Pakistanis will be allowed to vote in the next election as per the EC, Imran khan will win without a doubt.
