KARACHI, Jan 27 Visitors from Balochistan taught a lesson to Sindh when their boys' and girls' teams registered second straight victories against them in the fixtures between the two provinces at the Hockey Club Of Pakistan Stadium.

Balochistan, inflicted a 2-1 defeat on Sindh in their second match played on Tuesday. Ejaz and Jamal shared the scoring honours for the winners while Bilal scored the only goal for the hosts. Earlier, two-goal Jamal helped Balochistan beat Sindh in the boys' opener the other day while Mehdi completed the tally. Bilal reduced the deficit for the losers.

Tahira slammed four goals as Balochistan trounced Sindh 6-1 in the girls match. Nadia scored twice for the winning team. Sindh's lone goal came from Madiha.

The visitors had chalked up a solitary goal victory over Sindh in the girls' opener with Tahira scoring the all important goal.

Meanwhile, Sindh boys and girls excelled in the ping pong events.

Wednesday is the rest day in the competition.
