KARACHI, May 29 Adil Kohari and Farhan Altaf, the top two seeds, qualified to meet each other for the title clash when they whipped their opponents in the juniors' under-18 singles pre-finals of the 12th Anti Tobacco Day Tennis tournament at the Karachi Club on Friday.

Top seed Adil overcame a tough resistance from upcoming and seventh seed Talha Zubair Surmawala before winning 6-4, 7-6 (11-9).

Similarly, second seed Farhan struggled to inflict 6-3, 6-3 defeat on fourth seed Aamir Darvesh.

The final between Adil and Farhan will be played on Saturday.

Nomi Qamar, as expected, handed a 6-4, 6-2 drubbing to Khalid Ali Nazar and now meets Nasir Mushtaq in the Sunday's final.

Seher Khwaja, a former national hard court champion, and Sara Ahmed also moved into the ladies singles final.

Sara Ahmed bt Maheen dada 7-5, 6-1; Seher Khwaja bt Saima Khan 6-2, 2-0 (retired).
