Three PHC judges made permanent

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday approved the appointment of three judges of the Peshawar High Court as permanent ones as well as the extension in the contracts of four additional judges.

The president approved the above following an advice from Prime Minsiter Nawaz Sharif.

Judges who have been made permanent are Justice Nisar Hussain Khan, Justice Waqar Ahmed Seth and Justice Qaisar Rashid.

Furthermore, PHC judges whose contracts have been extended include Justice Asadullah Khan Chamkani, Justice Irshad Qaisar, Justice Shah Jahan Akhundzada and Justice Ruhul Amin Khan.

The confirmations and extensions follow recommendations given by the Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JC) in the month of May.
