SHC, PHC judges get extension, confirmation

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari granted on Tuesday one-year extension in the services of ten additional judges of the Sindh High Court (SHC) and Peshawar High Court (PHC).

The president also approved confirmation of three additional judges of the PHC.

The additional judges of the PHC whose tenures have been extended were Justice Asadullah Khan Chamkani, Justice Irshad Qaiser, Justice Shah Jehan Khan Akhunzada and Justice Roohul Amin Khan.

The additional judges confirmed as judges of the PHC were Justice Nisar Hussain Khan, Justice Waqar Ahmed Seth and Justice Qaiser Rashid.
