LAHORE, June 19: Three more matches were decided in the third Prof Syed Fida Hussain Shah PHF Inter-academy Hockey Championship at the Iqbal Khan Hockey Stadium, Abbottabad, according to the results released by the Pakistan Hockey Federation on Wednesday.

A solitary goal by Faizan Elvi in the 26th minute helped Gojra edge out Bahawalpur 1-0. Goals by Ibrar (18th) and Amjad Ali (35th) propelled Bannu to 2-0 win over Quetta in the second match of the day.

A 40th minute penalty-corner conversion by Naveed enabled Lahore draw 1-1 against Sialkot. Earlier, Wajiullah had sounded the board in the 36th minute for Sialkot.
