KARACHI: A loud explosion has been heard from phase-6 and phase-7 of Karachi’s up-scale Defence Housing Authority (DHA) neighbourhood on Wednesday night, DawnNews reported.

Initial TV reports suggest the blast was heard from far distances. However, exact location and target of the possible attack is not yet known.

Meanwhile, denying the TV reports, SP Clifton Sarfraz Nawaz said there is no explosion in Defence area and urged the people to not heed to any such ‘rumours'.
