THATTA, June 27: Two litigants were shot at and injured by rivals at the sessions court yard during proceedings here on Thursday morning .

Sources identified attackers as four members of the Taara tribe who were in litigation with Khuda Bukhsh and Mohammed Usman, both Somras by caste, over a plot in their village of Ali Behr on the National Highway.

To avoid body checking, the attackers entered the Thatta sessions court avoiding the gate and resorted to firing at their rivals in the court veranda where litigants were awaiting their turn of proceedings.

The attackers fled without any resistance from police.
