ABBOTTABAD, June 29: Abbottabad district bar association on Saturday elected Iftikhar Khan Jadoon its president and Syed Faisal Shah general secretary, respectively for the next term.

Mr Jadoon received 165 votes while his rival Asad Khan Jadoon got 132 votes.

According to the election results, Zakir Hussain Paul was elected bar’s vice president getting 144 votes against 134 votes of Rizwan Qureshi.

Syed Faisal Shah was elected general secretary of the bar association. He got 212 votes against 154 votes polled by his rival Zareed Qureshi.

Total number of votes polled stood at 410 out of a total of 476 votes.
