IT is indeed shocking and painful to hear about the attack on the Quaid-i-Azam’s residency in Ziarat.
This was a monument for which everyone visiting Quetta would drive a few miles to see the place where our Quaid used to stay.
It is heartening to hear our Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar’s assurance to rebuild this monument in quick time. But what about the Quaid’s relics we have lost?
We as a nation have not cared for the Quaid’s ‘Unity, Faith and Discipline’ message. It was a powerful message and we are suffering today only because we are not united.

according to the writer of "Inheritors & Transformers" possibly jamal naqvi (if I have the name right) the slogan Unity, Faith & Discipline was not a revolutionary slogan as should have been befitting for a newly emergent state but was a dead slogan which has resulted in the mess that pakistan finds itself in today.

We must abide by Quaid's wish for a tolerant, vibrant and progressive Pakistan - a country by Muslims - for ALL humanity.
