LARKANA is in total disarray. The overcrowded city, with roads already encroached upon and lack of traffic surveillance, makes life miserable for citizens.

Every Friday night teen bikers indulge in mad race throughout the city, increasing the number of accidents while the police remain a spectator.

The overhead bridge is closed to heavy vehicles for repair, re-routing traffic to the narrow city roads, but no repair work has been carried out for the past six months.

Healthcare facilities are inadequate and patients are referred to hospitals in Karachi.

The education system is wrecked by the cheating mafia. Stray dogs are another menace for the residents of the city.

Poor sanitation, leaking drains, uncovered gutters, spilled garbage, 12-hour-long loadshedding, electricity theft and the list goes on.

Regrettably, the authorities have turned a deaf ear to the grievances of the city.
