Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan, who recently underwent a

and "fantastic".

Hrithik made the okay sign using the fingers of his left hand, while lying down on the bed at the Hinduja Hospital.

The 39-year-old star also posted a message for his fans on Facebook: "What's up! Hope everyone's making the best of their day! I'm horizontal but controlling and creating my environment to the best of my ability... That's all we ever need to do."

"Hope you're doing the same! I'm fantastic by the way! Thanks to all your love and wishes."

His spirit is not dampened, as was evident from an inspiring thought that he left behind for his fans.

"Leaving you with this thought - Everything can be taken away from you but one thing. The freedom of knowing one can choose their attitude in any given environment...Invent your own way! Love...supersonic style," he added.

On Twitter, Hrithik did not miss the chance of wishing the best for his actor friend Farhan Akhtar, whose movie Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is ready to release on Friday.

"I believe Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is phenomenal! Fills me up with bright light! miss running with you Farhan Akhtar. Certain you will conquer the highest with this," posted Hrithik.

Hrithik’s health scare sends Bollywood into a tizzy

While the actor is recuperating well, the sudden illness has sent Bollywood into a tizzy.

The trade is wondering whether his films will make it to the theatres as scheduled. But the makers of his films insist there will be no change in the release dates. His father Rakesh Roshan's Krrish 3 is releasing on November 3 this year while Siddharth Anand's Bang Bang and Karan Malhotra's Shuddhi have been scheduled for May 1 and Diwali respectively, next year.

Reportedly, the actor has been advised bed rest for about four weeks after his discharge from the hospital. Speculation is rife whether the post-production of Krrish 3 will be delayed, in which he's also the associate director and is involved in all production aspects as well.

When contacted, Roshan Senior maintained that Krrish 3 will move ahead as planned. "Nothing is being rescheduled, everything is on track," he said.

On being probed further about a promotional world tour they are planning, he said, "That's in October, so there's still time for that."

At the time of going to press, Roshan Senior said Hrithik's doctors were yet to decide about his discharge. "Most probably Wednesday or Thursday," he said.

The actor, who has over 200 crore riding on him, was supposed to take off to Europe later this month for the next schedule of Bang Bang. But that has now been postponed.

An official spokesperson from Fox Star Studios confirms, "Hrithik's health and well-being is our top priority now. So, the shoot of the third schedule of Bang Bang has been moved forward." The details of the next schedule are currently being worked out, but most likely, it will be accommodated after Krrish 3 releases, either in November or December.

As far as Karan Malhotra's Shuddhi goes, sources close to the actor insist that everything is as per plan. "Shuddhi was supposed to start only in January next year (2014). The release date that has been announced is October 2014, so there is no question of the film being thrown off schedule," says the source.

Salman Khan

In the past, Salman Khan's films too were reported to be affected by his nerve condition (Trigeminal Neuralgia). He was under treatment for this, owing to which he did not have any release in 2013. As reported by TOI earlier, five major action sequences in his upcoming film Mental have to be shot and Sohail (his brother) doesn't want to take any risk and aggravate Salman's condition. Also, since most other big dates have already been booked by other actors, Mental is slated to release around mid-January 2014.
