KARACHI: Pakistan's Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi and his Dutch partner Jean-Julien Rojer broke into the top three of the ATP doubles rankings on Monday with the Bryan brothers occupying the number one and the Spanish pair of Granollers and Lopez on number two.
Qureshi and Rojer are ranked number three with 1510 points while Qureshi also moved up one spot in the doubles individual rankings and is now ranked at number eight.
The Pak-Dutch duo recently crashed out of the Monte Carlo Masters on Friday, losing to Serbia’s Nenad Zimonjic and Julien Benneteau 6-2, 7-5 in the quarter-final of the event.
Last month, the pair clinched the Miami Open to win their third title together after winning in Halle and Estoril in 2012.
