Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) leader Syed Khurshid Ahmed Shah has secured the National Assembly seat of NA-199 Sukkur-2 by getting 79,350 votes. His opponent Inayatullah of PML-F secured 39,225 votes.

He has been elected MNA four times. In 2002, Shah was elected from NA-198 (Sukkur-cum-Shikarpur – I) and won from NA-199 (Sukkur-cum-Shikarpur – II) in the 2008 general election.
